Bangkok, March 10, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif took part in the 14th Asia Cooperation Dialogue Ministerial Meeting started in the Thai capital on Thursday.
Zarif is due to hold talks with senior Thai officials on the sidelines of the Bangkok meeting.
An expert meeting of the 14th Asia Cooperation Dialogue was held on Wednesday.
Zarif started his Southeast Asia and Oceania tour on March 5.
His first destination was Indonesia.
While in Jakarta, Zarif attended the fifth Extraordinary Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on Palestine and Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
He later travelled to Singapore and Brunei and held talks with a number of top officials of those countries, reviewing bilateral ties.
After Thailand, the Iranian foreign minister is to visit New Zealand and Australia.
