TEHRAN, March 09 (Shana) — Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will visit Turkey in spring, head of Iran-Turkey Parliamentary Friendship Group said.
Moayyed Hosseini Sadr told the parliamentary new agency that the visit is being arranged after the join economic commission of Iran and Turkey.
He said Ahmet Davutoglu’s visit from Tehran earlier this week was very positive and had very promising feedback in the media.
Rouhani’s visit will be focused on economic cooperation with Ankara and reaching understanding to address regional conflicts, Sadr said.
“Turkey has based its policies on boosting ties with Iran and a joint economic commission is slated to be formed during spring by the two countries,” he added.
