Tehran, March 8, IRNA � Deputy Foreign Minister in charge of monitoring implementation of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action Abbas Araqchi on Tuesday gave assurances about honouring JCPOA by the western states citing Iran's capabilities.

He said that Iran's irreversible advances in field of peaceful nuclear science forced other sides of talks to come to the negotiating table, adding that the western states avoided to use military force because of Iran's deterrent power.

Araqchi said that Iran has strong economic capabilities and the Islamic Republic of Iran already took effective measures to thwart the sanctions.
He said that the western governments orchestrated crippling sanctions on the Islamic Republic but the nation made resistance and the enemies failed to achieve their goals.

Iran's scientific, defensive, economic and diplomatic capabilities guarantees implementation of JCPOA, Araqchi added.

He said that Iran honors its obligations enshrined by the JCPOA and that the cost of violating the deal can prevent potential violations by other party.

Possible Military Dimension (PMD) case of Iran's peaceful nuclear program which included fabricated stories against Islamic Republic was closed, Araqchi said.

US president has authorized the country's foreign secretary to lift Iran's sanctions and they have fulfilled all their obligations according the JCPOA, Araqchi said.
