TEHRAN, Feb. 26 (MNA) � Leader's senior adviser on international affairs confirmed that people�s massive presence in the elections will bring the country a day of honor and glory.

Upon casting his vote in ballot box Ali Akbar Velayati, Head of Strategic Research Center of the Expediency Council, said �undoubtedly, the presence of the honorable Iranian nation marks the grandeur of the Islamic Republic sending the message to the world that Iranians will be supportive of the country under the leadership of the Ayatollah Khamenei.�

He further urged the authorities to pay considerable attention to the companionship and assistance of people asserting �officials, particularly those who will be selected in the Parliament, need to be trustees of the nation�s trust putting all efforts to serve and solve the problems of people.�

Velayati also noted that �in the current critical era, the Islamic Republic of Iran is following the path of growth and excellence with stability and authority to send the clear message to the world that Iranian people will be present at all stages defending the goals and aspirations of the country.�
