New war on Gaza: Tel Avivs big bluff

Alwaght- The Israeli Minister of Defense Moshe Ya'alon in a visit to the US-Israeli joint anti-ballistic missiles exercises in Haifa port city in the occupied Palestinian lands has acknowledged that Hamas movement had increased its military capabilities, adding that so far the Palestinian movement has shown a commitment to the truce reached after the Gaza 51-Day War.

So far, Hamas has not fired even a single shot but it is busy building underground tunnels to launch attacks against Israel and it is preparing its tunnels for both defensive and offensive objectives, the Israeli minister of defense noted. Ya'alon, at the same time, has maintained that Tel Aviv was bracing for a fresh round of war with Hamas movement in Gaza.

These Israeli remarks are coming while the Israeli experts are admitting that no new war was to be waged by the Israeli regime against the Gaza Strip. They believe that Tel Aviv fears the consequence of another assault against the Strip because once the offensive is launched; it would impose a heavy cost on the regime. The experts say that the Israeli regime could put strain on the Islamic resistance Hamas through launching airstrikes against Gaza, however, the future war would be way different from the previous ones, and Tel Aviv would have to pay heavy international, political and economic prices.

The regimes officials say that Hamas movement since the implementation of ceasefire has not launched any rockets and provoked no war but the Palestinian resistances capabilities have been developed so highly that it is prepared to launch assaults at the Israeli settlements and deal Tel Aviv a blow any time it wishes.

The fact is that the West Banks incidents and the Palestinians recent revolt, dubbed the third Al-Quds intifada, against the Israeli violations since the early October 2015 indicates that it is very unlikely that Tel Aviv escalates tensions with Palestinians in the near future because as it seems the Israelis have been left impotent in dealing with popular movement and they do not actually know how to steer clear of the crisis, therefore they have resorted to psychological warfare.

While being totally frustrated, the Israeli officials have admitted that they have take any violent measures from burning, massacring and torturing, to suppressing and detaining to stop the suicide attacks carried out by the Palestinian youths but they failed to meet their aims.

Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military branch of Hamas movement, have also told Tel Aviv their last words, asserting that the Israeli Gaza invasion would not intimidate them, rather, it causes further preparation of the armed fractions, as it could encourage them to fire rockets deep to Israeli sensitive locations perhaps to Tel Aviv as al-Qassam Brigades targeted the city for the first time in previous war.

On the other side, Lebanons Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has recently threatened that the Lebanese resistance could hit the ammonia storage in Haifa city, indicating that the Islamic resistance is honest in its words and it makes no hesitation to realize its pledges on the ground. Thereby, a regime that stands on a powder keg cannot risk attacking the Gaza Strip.
