Saudi Arabian aircrafts will arrive in Turkey on February 25 or 26.
ANKARA (Sputnik) Saudi Arabian military aircraft set to be used against Daesh will arrive in Turkey on February 25 or 26, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said Thursday.
"Saudi Arabian warplanes will arrive in Turkey today or tomorrow. Saudi Arabian personnel has already arrived," Cavusoglu told Anadolu news agency.
Last week, Riyadh said it was ready to deploy ground troops to Syria to fight Daesh terrorist group. He said the number of fighter jets used in the mission would depend on "objectives outlined by the coalition."
The US-led coalition has carried out airstrikes against the group in Syria since mid-2014 without approval from Damascus or the United Nations.
The Incirlik base is 5 miles north of the Turkish city of Adana near the Syrian border.
