Iran, Russia to run joint economic information bank

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Head of Business Education Center of Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade said that Iran and Russia plan to establish joint economic information bank in near future to help development of bilateral ties.

The data suggests that Russia imports $40 billion fruit and vegetable annually and Irans large agricultural potentials could be a launch pad for Irans agricultural exports to Russian large market,Abbas Khaleghi-Bar said.

He also said Turkeys withdrawal from Russian market is a special opportunity for the countrys economy which needs to be used appropriately.

He also said that Russian milk products market would grow by 15 percent by 2019 and could create a large market for Iran.

Iran and Russia plan to hold a seminar on February 27 to be attended by officials of the two sides, he said, adding, during which the two countries would discuss effective presence in Irans exclusive expo in Moscow coming months.
