Tehran, Feb 20, IRNA – Omani Foreign Minister Yusuf bin Alawi arrived here Saturday to hold talks with the Iranian officials.
The visiting Omani foreign minister is to meet with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif later.
He is also due to attend a joint press conference.
Bin Alawi will stay in Iran for two days.
In recent years, Oman has been following independent approach in its foreign policy and in the regional developments.
Muscat has played an important role in talks between Iran and the six world powers that led to July nuclear deal, then removal of anti-Iran sanctions on January 16.
