US to Iraq: Two choices; split or plight of ISIS?

Alwaght- These days the US holds a focus on post-ISIS Iraq and establishment of federal regions in the country with quasi-absolute powers. To proceed with and implement its plans, Washington takes advantage of reformation plans and creation of civil societies and helping end Iraqs black period.

The US insists that after pushing ISIS out of Iraq and fully cleansing the country of the terror group, Iraq should be broken in to three federal regions with each holding its quasi-absolute powers like lawmaking.

Meanwhile, the top diplomatic sources have uncovered the themes of these days sensitive and precise discussions under way in Washington, adding that the central point of the discussions concentrates on the post-ISIS Iraq.

The Americans meet Iraqs politicians in different places

According to the diplomatic sources, US officials from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the State Department and the House Committee on Homeland Security in various time spans have met Iraqi politicians from different political groups in several places like London, Erbil, Baghdad and Amman.

The Iraqi politicians have been told that the US was convinced that continuation of the governing system with its present form would yield a state of impotency which is difficult to deal with.

Breaking Iraq in to three federal regions

The diplomatic sources also added that Iraqs acceding to the split plan and division in to three regions under Baghdads federal government is set as the main condition for closing ISIS case in Iraq and cleansing each and every part of the country of the terrorist organization. Furthermore, all of the power holders in Baghdad, specifically Iran-dominated militia forces, have to be driven out, the US conditions add.

Washington has told Iraqs politicians that they had to settle the problems between them and from now on they must agree on coexistence requirements including economy and foreign investment sectors, as well as special home issues in Iraq as a united country but lacking a central government and with regions with almost absolute mandates.

The US is currently focusing on the major problems including Irans active presence and sway in Iraq, the informed sources suggest.

The US vows support for Iraqs federal government

On the other hand, Washington has pledged support for the Iraqs new UNSC-approved federal government, and Haider al-Abadi, the current prime minister, is set to contribute to the plan as the president of the Iraqs Switzerland-style federal government.

Also, Iraq would be announced as a completely strategic region with its security tied to the US national security. The sources also said that the problem Washington was working to solve in association with the Iraqi politicians and experts was the naming of the new regions.

Avoiding problems on Sunni and Shiite regions

The US struggle here is an obvious effort to overcome problems that could originate from the phrase Sunni and Shiite regions. But about the Kurdistan regions title there is not trouble.

Meanwhile, a number of the US officials are insisting that the original issue is about federal Iraq and its regions political system. Once this problem is settled, ISIS terror group or any other terrorist militia forces would be irreversibly eliminated.

Talking about certainty of success of Mosul liberation plan- the city is held by ISIS for over a year-, the informed sources have said that the date for implementation of the recapture plan was too close. The Kurdistan region is also informed about Washingtons military and political agreements for preserving Iraqs federal unity within three regions along with the federal capital region. The federal capital is symbolically identified as CF.

Establishing an air bridge to protect Sunni region

The diplomatic sources also added that some important Arab capitals have been notified of Iraqs new post-ISIS form, as they have been told of establishment of an air bridge set to last for at least six months to protect the Sunni region because the whole of the regions infrastructures are destroyed and its cities are demolished as a result of the ongoing war, while the southern regions and the Kurdish region are enjoying a relative stability.

Also an agreement is reached on removing the Iraqi prominent figures who during the past ten years have dominated the countrys political scene, and new politicians were planned to take their place. In the federal era all of the former laws which are approved through the constitution would be revoked. Following cleansing Iraq of the terrorists and the extremists, new civil laws, which have the international backing, would be considered for the country.
