Iran invents circular magnet to clear streets of metal debris
TEHRAN, Jan.31 (MNA) An Iranian inventor has designed and built a circular magnet to clear large and small areas of metal debris.

The circular magnet provides an effective and efficient means for clearing large and small areas of dangerous metal debris, returning them to the production circle, project manager Mohsen Ghorbani told Mehr News correspondant.

He noted the device can be used in factories, turning firms, recycling and waste disposal sites and assembly workshops.

These magnets, on the other hand, can connect to the cars as tows and quickly clear metal debris from streets, construction sites, runways, or steel mills, and operates over wet or dry, smooth or unpaved surfaces, Ghorbani said, adding that the collected debris can then return to the recycling centers.

The device, he noted, can efficiently remove 1 tonne of large or small quantities of dangerous scrap metal from machining areas and shop floors, to be returned to the production cycle and quickly wipe clean the streets.
