Endgame? Syrian army flushes terrorists out of Homs, cuts supply routes

The Syrian Army and popular forces have regained more Daesh-controlled territories across the countrys central Homs province effectively cutting off the terrorists supply routes, Irans Fars news agency reported on Thursday.







"The Syrian army units and the popular defense groups established control overa number ofstrategic hills and heights, including Thaniet Rashed, inthe eastern side ofHoms province," a field source said onThursday.




On Wednesday, the Syrian Air Force pounded Daesh and al-Nusra gathering centers acrossthe Central province and Homs killing many terrorists and causing considerable damage totheir lines ofsupply.
"The Syrian fighter jets tracked and targeted the ISIL positions nearthe town ofMaheen and aroundthe ancient Assyrian town ofQuaryatayn inthe southeastern part ofHoms province, which ended inthe destruction ofmany weapons and vehicles," the army said.


Meanwhile, Syrian fighter jets stormed the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front's defense lines inTir Ma'ala West ofTalbiseh and nearUm Sharshouh North ofthe province leaving many terrorists killed and wounded and destroying much oftheir equipment, the Army said ina statement.
