TEHRAN, Jan. 20 (Shana) -- Deputy managing director of Pars Oil and Gas Company said drilling expenses make up 25% of development costs in the supergiant offshore South Pars gas projects.

Addressing an expert drilling conference session in Tehran on Wednesday, Farrokh Alikhani said 30% of drilling costs are caused by drilling services during operations.
He underlined the significance of drilling services in drilling operations.

The first Iran Drilling Services Conference was held on Wednesday at IRIB's conference hall in Tehran with representatives from 250 Iranian and foreign drilling companies participating.
