TEHRAN, Jan. 13 (Shana) The value-added generated by the South Pars Gas Complex (SPGC) since mid-March 21, 2015, has grown $4.5 billion compared to the figure for the same period of last year, [which was $60 billion].
In the year to March 20, 2016, the complexs processed gas, sulfur, propane, butane and ethane output rose 18.3 percent, 15 percent, 40 percent, 24 percent and 8 percent, respectively, saidSPGCs Managing DirectorMasoud Hassani.
He added the number of the refineries of the complex will reach 14 in the near future.
The value-added created by the complex gains more importance as a significant achievement, when compared to the 6-billion-dollar investment made to complete development of phases 15 and 16 of the South Pars Gas Field, in Bushehr province, SPGC chief stressed.
