Tehran, Jan 12, IRNA – Spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Behrouz Kamalvandi, said on Tuesday that the core of Arak heavy water reactor has been dismantled as per an agreement reached with G5+1.
Kamalvandi said main agreements have been fulfilled and the commercial and technical nuclear contracts will take time to be implemented. ‘Dismantling core of the reactor was part of the commitments which was fulfilled,’ he told reporters on the sidelines of ceremonies to commemorate martyrdom of a nuclear scientist, Ali Mohammadi.
He said elimination of sanctions will be possible on condition of Iran fulfilling its commitments.’
Noting ‘our nuclear prospect is very clear,’ he said a bright prospect is ahead of the country as far as nuclear issue is concerned.
