TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian army and air force destroyed terrorists' military grid in the province of Aleppo on Sunday.

The Syrian fighter jets pounded and destroyed the terrorists' gathering centers in the towns of Tal Rifat, Marea and Minnigh in Aleppo province.

Meantime, the Syrian army razed down the militants' positions in the town of Tadef in Aleppo province.

Also, heavy clashes broke out between the Syrian army and the ISIL Takfiri terrorists in the outskirts of the town of Al-Bab in the Eastern part of Aleppo.

The Syrian warplanes also struck the terrorists' gathering centers in the village of Najjara in the Aleppo province.

Earlier today, the Syrian army destroyed the ISIL's command headquarters in the strategic village of Tal Hatabat in the Eastern part of Aleppo city.

Tens of ISIL militants were killed in the army's attacks on their military positions in Tal Hatabat village.

Meantime, the Syrian troops razed down the ammunition depot of the terrorists in Matar al-Nairab region in the Eastern part of the Aleppo Airport.

The Syrian army also cut the supply route of the militants in the town of Khanasser Southeast of Aleppo province.

The army units also hit the terrorists' positions in al-Lairmoun, Jami'at al-Zahra and the village of al-Mansoura to the West of Aleppo city.

Meantime, the Syrian forces destroyed the military positions and gathering centers of the Takfiri terrorists in Salahuddin, Al-Rashidin4 and Bani Zaid.

On Saturday, the Syrian army pounded the military positions of the Takfiri terrorists in Aleppo province, and killed a large number of Takfiri militants.

The army units hit ISIL's positions in the town of Zorba in Aleppo countryside, killing tens of terrorists and injuring dozens more.

The Syrian army, meantime, hit the terrorists' gathering centers in the towns of Tadef and Al-Bab in the Aleppo countryside.

The Syrian army destroyed the Takfiri terrorists' positions in the Aleppo countryside, and killed dozens of the militants.

The army units razed down the gathering centers of Al-Nusra Front militants in al-Miassar, Al-Ramosa, al-Amiriya, Salahuddin, Bustan al-Basha, Bani Zaid and al-Lairmoun neighborhoods in Aleppo countryside.

The Syrian troops also pounded the ISIL Takfiri terrorists' military positions in Tal Mosayebin and the town of Izaz in the Northern countryside of the Aleppo city.

The Syrian artillery also hit the terrorists' positions in in the towns of Deir Hafer and Khan Asal in the Aleppo countryside.

Also today, the Syrian Army announced that its troops and their popular allies stormed the terrorists' positions in the Eastern, Southwestern and Central parts of Aleppo province, and slowed down their tactical movements in the battlefields through inflicting large casualties on them.

"The Syrian Army and the National Defense Forces' heavy offensives pinned down the Takfiri militants behind their defense lines in al-Zerbeh and Khan al-Assal," the army said, adding, "The militants suffered a heavy death toll in the attacks."

"The ISIL strongholds in Deir Hafer in the Eastern part of Aleppo province also came under heavy attacks of the Syrian army and popular forces, which claimed the lives of many militants and destroyed their military grid," the army added.

"The army soldiers, meantime, attacked the terrorist groups' concentration centers in the neighborhoods of� al-Sheikh Lutfi, Bani Zaid, Karm al-Tarab and al-Rashidin4, and inflicted major damage on their military sites' infrastructures," the army went on to say.

The pro-government forces have put the militant groups under pressure inside and outside of Aleppo.

Heavy bombardments and massive shelling of the militants' centers have made them weaker than ever.

The Syrian army has gained upper hand against the militants in the Northern province Aleppo where once was the main stronghold of the terrorist groups in the crisis-hit country.
