Iran football matches postponed due to air pollution

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Two Iran Professional League (IPL) football matches have been postponed due to poor air quality conditions in Tehran, the capital of Iran.

The country’s football association said Esteghlal of Tehran and Siah Jamegan and Naft Tehran and Tractor Sazi matches, scheduled for Sunday, have been cancelled.

Esteghlal and Siah Jamegan match will be held in Monday while Naft and Tractor Sazi has been scheduled for Tuesday.

Air pollution forced Iranian authorities to shut schools in the capital Tehran last week.
