Donald Trump, the leading US presidential candidate for the Republican Party, warned Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton not to frame him as an enemy of women, after she accused the billionaire businessman of having a penchant for sexism.
Hillary, when you complain about a penchant for sexism, who are you referring to, Trump tweeted early on Thursday. I have great respect for women. BE CAREFUL!
Trump posted a similar Tweet on Wednesday, telling Clinton to be careful and accusing the former secretary of state of playing the war on women card.
The war of words between the two candidates has intensified since Monday when Trump used a disparaging slang to describe Clintons 2008 loss to Barack Obama involving the male genitalia.
The real estate mogul also called it disgusting that Clinton missed a brief part of Saturdays Democratic presidential debate to use the restroom.
Clintons campaign blasted the Republican front-runner for what it called sexually derogatory comments.
"We are not responding to Trump but everyone whounderstands the humiliation this degrading language inflicts on all women should, Clinton's communications director Jennifer Palmieri tweeted on Tuesday.

(AFP photo)[/caption]Since he joined the 2016 White House race in mid-June, Trumps campaign has been marked by controversy, including disparaging remarks about women, Muslims and Mexican immigrants.
Last month, the reality TV star proposed banning Muslims from entering the US, drawing widespread condemnation both domestically and internationally.
Trump, whose paternal grandparents immigrated from Germany and his mother immigrated from Scotland, has also called for the deportation of all undocumented immigrants from the United States.
