P5+1 not granted indulgence to Iran: Senior cleric

Tehran, Dec 18, IRNA P5+1 has not granted indulgence to Iran by giving up some accusations, Tehran interim Friday Prayers Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami said in his second sermon.


Speaking about closure of the Possible Military Dimension (PMD) file, Ayatollah Khatami urged Iranian government to pursue the case of over a decade fabricated reports on Iran's peaceful nuclear program by the IAEA.

The P5+1 have not granted indulgences to Iran and just they gave up some of their anti-Iranian accusations, the cleric added.

He called IAEA report about Iran's research on nuclear arms a decade ago as baseless.

Condemning murder of Nigerian Shia people, Ayatollah Khatami warned the Nigerian Army against the consequences of such criminal acts.

On Turkey's military deployment in Iraq, he encouraged Turkish officials to take a lesson from former regional dictators and do not follow the US policies.

Calling the new Saudi-led coalition against Daesh (ISIS) 'satirical,' he said that Saudi dynasty is itself behind most of the Takfiri terrorist groups.
