TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Ambassador to Russia Mehdi Sanaie said Russia plans to hold a large industrial and trade exhibition in Iran.

The exhibition is scheduled for December 21-23, he wrote in his Facebook page, adding Russian Minister of Trade and Industry Denis Manturov and 200 Russian industry owners are going to participate in the event.

He said the exhibition would pave the way for trade-industry dialogue between the two countries, help improvement of bilateral trade ties as well as stability of Russian industry in Iran.

Machinery, aircraft, ship, wagon and steel industries as well as other industries are included in the event.

Russia plans to introduce production-technical plans on metallurgy, machinery, auto industry, aviation and transportation technology as well as long-term projects such as establishing firms, engineering centers and joint industrial parks in the event.

Minister of industry of Iran and Russia would sign a road map for industrial cooperation.
