Iran cautions Islamic governments against divide

Tehran, Dec 9, IRNA Foreign Ministry spokesman Hossein Jaber Ansari said on Wednesday that disputes among Muslim governments will serve the Israeli interests and that the Islamic Republic of Iran is willing to help Muslim nations get rid of current crises.

According to the Foreign Ministry Media Department, he made the remarks in a meeting with renowned Palestinian researcher and head of al-Zeituniya Studies Center of Lebanon Mohsen Saleh.
Jaber Ansari appreciated unveiling the new book of Mohsen Saleh titled 'Palestine Dilemma', Jaber Ansari said that current situation in the region needs better crisis management.
Regional countries have different readings for the unwarranted humanitarian crises, but, the past trends must be revised and disputes should be discussed realistically to find resolution.
He added that although there are differences between governments in the region, but using diplomatic capacities would help reach common points.
Mohsen Saleh said that Palestine is the centerpiece of unity among Islamic Ummah and compiling the book like 'Palestine Dilemma' aims to develop public awareness.
Referring to challenges in the way of compromise trend, Saleh said its implementation will face with complicated problems and underlined that resistance plan is facing with challenges, too, but is on upward trend in Gaza Strip and the West Bank as well.
More than 60 percent of Palestinian in the West Bank want to end the compromise trend, he said.
Representative of Hamas Movement in Tehran Khalid Qaddomi was present in the meeting.
