TEHRAN (ISNA)- A large number of international copper companies are willing to make investment and participate in exploration and mining activities in Iran, said Managing Director of National Iranian Copper Industries Company (NICICO) Ahmad Morad-Alizadeh.

�A large number of international companies have expressed their readiness for investment and participation in exploration and mineral activities of the NICICO following the international atmosphere,� he said.

He said international consulting firms from Japan, South Africa, Australia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Britain and Poland have offered cooperation with Iran.

He further said that the company is after establishing appropriate exploration structure for mutual cooperation with foreign and local companies to attract investment and obtain new new-how.
