TEHRAN, Nov. 23 (MNA) � High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini issued a statement on the conclusion of an Official Document regarding the modernization of the Arak reactor in Iran.

"One of the important commitments reached between the E3/EU+3 and Iran under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) has been the modernisation of the Arak research reactor in Iran," Mogherini says in the statement, adding that an Official Document which outlines the commitments of the JCPOA participants in this important project has been concluded.

"The document signed by the Foreign Ministers of the E3+3, Iran and myself represents another important milestone on the way towards the full implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action," she adds.

She expresses satisfaction over the release of Arak Official Document, saying that, "In my capacity, as the Coordinator of the Joint Commission established under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, I am pleased to release the Arak Official Document."
