TEHRAN, Nov. 21 (Shana) � Iranian Petroleum Minister Bijan Zangeneh on Saturday was elected as the Alternate President of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) for two years.

The 17th Ministerial Meeting of GECF held here also elected Qatar as President of the forum and re-elected Mohammad-Hossein Adeli as the Secretary General.

The meeting was held on the verge of the GECF summit meeting to be held Monday.
