Tehran, Nov 22, IRNA � Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal arrived in Tehran on Sunday evening to attend the 3rd Summit meeting of Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF).

He was welcomed at airport by Energy Minister Hamid Chitchian.

The 3rd Summit meeting of GECF will open here on Monday in presence of President Hassan Rouhani and 9 other heads of state.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to fly in Tehran on Monday morning to attend the summit.

During 3-day visit to Iran, the Algerian premier is to meet and discuss issues of mutual interests with Iranian president, Majlis speaker and first vice-president.

The forum has 12 main members as well as 7 observers.
