NIGC attends Turkmen oil & gas expo

TEHRAN, Nov. 17 (Shana) The National Iranian Gas Company is being represented at the 20th Turkmenistan International Oil & Gas Conference (OGT 2015) to present 10 investment packages to foreign visitors of the fair.
The two-day exhibition ends today (November 18) and is being held at Ashagabat Exhibition Palace, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
NIGC's pavilion has been visited by top Turkmen officials including the country's vice president and Muhamentnur Halylov, the Turkmen Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.

France's Total, Russia's Tatneft, Socar, Trkmengaz, Hyundai and a number of oil and gas firms are running stands at the exhibition.
Turkmenistan's oil and gas resources in the Caspian Sea region are estimated at 12.1 billion tons of oil and 6.1 trillion cubic meters of gas.

The Turkmen section of the Caspian Sea has been divided into 32 licensed blocks. Work is currently underway in five blocks. The remaining blocks are the subject of direct but not exclusive negotiations for all concerned parties.
