Saudis need to rethink their Iran policy: Official

If the Saudis want to save their troubled relations with the Iranians, they have to stop taking evil measures against Iran, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani said.
Speaking to Alalam Arabic-language News Network Monday Shamkhani further said members of the terrorist gang that recently killed two mourners in the southwestern Iranian city of Dezful were on the payroll of the Saudi security forces.
"The Saudis use every forum to mobilize the Arab world against Iran; that is quite unnecessary. We have had good historical ties with the Arabs. We need to close the gap in the world of Islam. The Saudis need to take a better look at their record. If there is change on their part, from our perspective the problems can be definitely solved," he said.
