Tehran, Nov 16, IRNA - First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri said on Monday that tourism has registered remarkable growth in recent months in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The latest assessment on increase of number of incoming tourists to Iran indicates that both the state-run organizations and the private sectors should jointly work for the betterment of services to tourists, he said.
Given significant role of Iran in the region as well as the Muslim World, he said all should help advance tourism infrastructure in Iran such as renovation of air transport to attain the goal.
Jahangiri said that the government has envisaged development plan for national tourism industry encouraging the lucrative business.
