Leaders arriving in Turkey for G20 summit

ANKARA, Nov. 15 (MNA) The leaders that will attend the Summit of G20 have been arriving in this country, where final preparations are being made for the start of the meeting today in the coastal city of Antalya (south).

According to press reports, President of China, Xi Jinping, is here already and he is expected to present his country's efforts to consolidate its economy and promote global development.

Presidents Enrique Pena Nieto (Mexico) and Jacob Zuma (South Africa), as well as King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud are also here for the G20 meeting of the most industrialized countries and the emerging economies to discuss key issues of global economy on Nov.15-16.

President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said that the struggle against terrorism will be a priority in the agenda of the meeting, that has been shadowed by the terrorist attacks in the night of Nov. 13 that killed atleast 128 people in Paris.

French President Francois Hollande cancelled his attendance to the meeting. Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius and Finance Minister Michel Sapin will be present.

According to Turkish Hurriyet newspaper, the member countries of G20 represent two thirds of the world population, 80 percent of world trade and 85 percent of the world Gross Domestic Product.
