Kish Island, Nov 10, IRNA - The 2nd Kish International Exhibition and Summit of Exchange, Banking, Insurance Privatization (EBEX) and 7th International Exhibition and Summit for Presenting Iran's Investment Opportunities (INVEST SHOW) opened in the Persian Gulf Island of Kish in southern Iran on Tuesday.

Several high-ranking Iranian officials including Secretary of the Supreme Council of Free and Special Economic Zones Akbar Torkan, Secretary of Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaei, Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia-Pacific Affairs Ebrahim Rahimpour are attending the event.

The aim of holding these two exhibitions is to introduce Iranian investment opportunities and also drawing the foreign investors.

Some 185 domestic and 15 foreign companies from Switzerland, the Netherlands, UK, Germany, France, UAE, China and Canada are attending the event.

The exhibition will be wrapped up on Nov 12.
