Tehran, Nov 10, IRNA � Minister of Defense, Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan said the ministry's strategy is to design and build the highest quality defense equipment which can compete on the global basis.

Dehqan made the remarks during a gathering today in the field concerning the quality of defense equipment.

About the gathering, Dehqan said it aims at focusing on providing due quality for the equipment that the armed forces need and promoting defense capabilities and concentrating on creativity in defense industry.

To achieve those ends, the ministry should produce products which are according to the demand, he stressed.
