Lebanon dismantles Israeli regime's spy network

Alwaght- Lebanon has dismantled a spy network operated by the Israeli regime in the country and arrested three spies.

In a Sunday statement Lebanese General Security said that persons identified by the initials as R.A., a Syrian national, his Lebanese wife S.Sh., and H.M., another Lebanese national, admitted to gathering information on specific security officials in Lebanon, while taking pictures and videos of sensitive areas in the south and sending them to the Israeli regime's army.

According to Al Manar TV, the statement did not say where or when the individuals were arrested. The three suspected spies were referred to the relevant judicial authorities for further investigations as security forces continued to search for other individuals believed to be a part of the same espionage network.

Several Israeli spy networks have been uncovered in the country's south, where the army has dismantled or destroyed spying devices found.

The Israeli regime espionage devices found in the Al-Arid area of the Bani Hayan town included a surveillance camera, four batteries, a surveillance camera and a broadcast device within an artificial rock.

More than 100 people have been arrested in Lebanon on suspicion of collaborating with Israels regime's Mossad spy agency since April 2009.
