South Africa’s deputy president in Tehran

Tehran, Nov 7, IRNA – South Africa’s Deputy President, Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa, heading an eco-political delegation arrived at Imam Khomeini International Airport on Saturday morning.
Ramaphosa is visiting Tehran at the invitation of Iran’s First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri.

Ramaphosa is to prepare the ground for travel of South African president to Iran.

The 160 members of South African delegation are due to hold talks with their counterparts in the industrial and economic sectors in Iran on Sunday.

Few months ago, high commission meeting between the two countries, as well as their joint political committee were held in the Iranian capital in line with further bilateral relations.
