TEHRAN Nov. 1 (Shana) � National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC) has launched its first unit for rebuilding drilling items, an NIDC official said.
Mehdi Arshia, Director of Research and Technology of Construction at NIDC, told Shana that the unit has been operational during the past two months and has so far rebuilt 10 drilling items.
"The unit is estimated to lower much of NIDC expenses as worn-out items will reconstructed by the unit," said Arshia.

Fluidyne bellows used in cementing operations, 40 2-inch high pressure valves, 30 rotary caps, 12 liquid pump modules, the parts of two generators, air pump items, and cylinder shafts are being reconstructed by the unit, he added.
