Saudi warplanes pound Yemen’s capital, Sa’ada Province

The regime in Riyadh continues its military aggression against Yemen as Saudi warplanes carry out new airstrikes on areas in the Yemeni capital, Sana’a, and the northern province of Sa’ada.

According to local media reports on Sunday, Saudi military aircraft bombarded the region of Jabal al-Nahdain and the street of al-Khamsein in the capital, Sana’a.

The warplanes also bombarded the presidential palace in the southern part of the city.

It was also said that Saudi Arabia bombarded the district of Haydan in the northern part of Sa’ada Province.

In a separate incident in Yemen, three people were killed in a car bomb attack near the University of Ibb in the district of ar-Radmah in the central province of Ibb.

On Saturday, fatalities were also reported after Saudi warplanes targeted vehicles carrying fuel in the province of Jawf.

Homes were also destroyed in similar airstrikes on a district in the southwestern province of Ta’izz.

Saudi warplanes also bombarded the district of Haradh in the province of Hajjah.

Reports also said that tens of militants loyal to Yemen’s fugitive former president, Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, withdrew from a military base in the southern province of Aden.

According to the latest figures by Yemeni sources, at least 7,000 people have lost their lives in the Saudi strikes since March 26, when Riyadh launched the airstrikes.
