TEHRAN (FNA)- The Russian air raids hit militants' positions in Idlib Province, and killed dozens of terrorists, sources Saturday.

The Russian fighter jets conducted airstrikes on militant's positions in al-Tamanah town in Idlib, killing scores of the Takfiri terrorists.


On Friday, the Syrian Army announced that its forces carried out a wide-scale operation against the strongholds of the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra Front in the Southern parts of the Northwestern province of Idlib, killing at least 11 terrorists.


The army said that al-Nusra Front sustained heavy death toll as a resulte of massive attack of the Syrian soldiers on their positions in Kfarsijneh and Maaret Hermeh villages.


The sources further confirmed death of over 11 Nusra militants in the abovementioned battlefields.
