Official: Talks with Saudi Arabia on blood money of Mina victims

The Supreme Leader's representative for Hajj affairs said on Wednesday that the identity of 36 Iranian pilgrims who went missing during the Mina tragedy should be established as soon as possible.

Seyyed Ali Ghazi Asgar further said that Iran can pursue the legal aspects of the deadly incident once the question of identities is settled, adding that Iran has also talked with Saudi officials about the blood money of the Mina stampede victims.He went on to say that Iran's medical teams have been waiting for their visas over the past few days, adding that these teams are sent to Saudi Arabia to take care of identity determination and DNA tests for the Iranian pilgrims.
