Iran to hold cultural week of Poland’s theatre

TEHRAN, Oct. 27 (MNA) – Iran’s Dramatic Arts Center will hold the first theatre cultural week in the country on Poland planned for December.

The cultural week will run in Iran staring from December 13. Iran’s Dramatic Arts Centre has planned a series of cultural weeks with an aim to introduce the potentials of Iran’s theater and attending international events and markets.

The first cultural week has been allocated to Poland.

During the week-long event, several sessions, educational workshops, performances and fairs will be held. The City’s Theatre hall will hold three stage performances as well as a street theater from Poland and a play from Iran.

Moreover a session will be held with Poland’s theatre critics and Iran’s National Association of Theatre Critics and an exhibition will be mounted accommodating the works of Grotowski.
