Tehran, Oct 27, IRNA – The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and its implementation are sensitive issues for Iran, like the nuclear program and we hope it will be implemented completely and faultlessly by all sides, said Supreme Leader’s adviser in international affairs.
The head of Expediency Council’s Strategic Research Center Ali-Akbar Velayati who was speaking with the press on the sidelines of a meeting with Voctor Ivanov on Tuesday, a former security adviser of the Russian president also referred to the confirmation letter of the Supreme Leader on JCPOA.
‘The Supreme Leader has full competence over the country’s sensitive internal and international affairs in accordance with the IRI Constitution, and whenever he feels necessary, he offers the required strategic guidelines,’ he said.
He also said that the sensitivities in the letter were due to the required cautions that need to be observed in the course of precise implementation of the JCPOA.
Velayati hoped that just like Iran, the other parties to the international agreement will implement it properly and completely.
