Iran, Brazil set to develop oil, energy ties

TEHRAN, Oct. 27 (Shana) Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh and Brazilian Minister of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade Armando Monteiro are scheduled to meet here on Tuesday to discuss increasing bilateral relations in the field of oil and energy.

Monteiro, who is visiting Iran at the heading a trade delegation, told a meeting on Monday that Tehran and Brasilia can develop their ties in energy, industry, science, technology, oil, gas, and petrochemical fields.
He welcomed approval of the nuclear Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and removal of sanctions against Iran saying the ground is ready to expand bilateral trade from the existing annual 1.4 billion dollars.

Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade Mohammad-Reza Nematzadeh also said at the meeting that trade in food industry, advanced electronic industry, and joint investments can be promoted between Iran and Brazil.
