Iran, P5+1 discussing Arak reactor reconstruction, says Salehi

Tehran, Oct 26, IRNA Iran and P5+1 are discussing formulating the document for reconstruction of the Arak nuclear facility reactor, says Ali Akbar Salehi, Iran's Head of Atomic Energy Organization.

'We hope the document will soon be signed by the Islamic Republic and P5+1, said Salehi on the sidelines of the ceremony held on Monday for signing the memorandum for the construction of a nuclear hospital in Tehran.

If the document is signed by the two parties, the president will give the go-ahead for removing the core of Arak reactor, he said.

'On the so-called possible military dimensions (PMD), Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency have signed a roadmap,' said Salehi.

'The IAEA has taken due measures and it has expressed its satisfaction and is expected to present its report on December 15 to close forever the fabricated dossier on Iran's past and present nuclear activities,' he said.
