Tehran, Oct 22, IRNA � Head of Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Saeed Ohadi said on Thursday that no Iranian pilgrims have been injured in a fire at one of the courtyards of the holy shrine of Imam Ali (AS) in Najaf, Iraq.

The fire occurred at a warehouse where construction materials stored to build a new structure at the courtyard of Imam Ali (AS) holy shrine, Ohadi said.

Najaf city firefighters were able to extinguish the fire after four or five hours, Ohadi added.

'Fortunately there were not a lot of pilgrims at the place when the fire broke out. Therefore, none of them were injured,' he said.
