Salehi: JCPOA to be fully implemented within next two months

Tehran, Oct 13, IRNA -Vice President and Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Ali Akbar Salehi said on Tuesday that Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani did a very great job by getting JCPOA approved in Majlis and within two months the JCPOA will be fully implemented as planned.

Speaking to reporters, he extended his special appreciation to the Majlis Speaker for successfully managing today's session resulting in approval of JCPOA by Majlis deputies.
Wise management of Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani was in line with meeting the country's national interests, he said.
'My presence at nuclear talks was due to Mr. Larijani's recommendation,' Salehi said.
When Ali Larijani became the chairman of Majlis, he fully supported the Iranian nuclear team during and even after talks with the US, he said.
President Hassan Rouhani is to make decision on Iran's next action in fulfilling its commitments regarding the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Salehi said.
'Once again I would like to thank all Majlis deputies who did their best to protect the country's national interests and sovereignty,' he said.
It is expected that the Guardians Council would declare its decision on JCPOA.
After final approval of Majlis and Guardians Council, the JCPOA will be implemented according to its normal procedures, he said.
European Union is to officially announce termination of economic sanctions but it will take effect after Iran successfully carries out its already assigned duties, he said.
The US president is to read a statement to declare termination and suspension of economic sanctions and this also will happen after fulfillment of Iran's commitments, Salehi said.
It takes mostly one month and a half or two months for Iran to carry out its commitments, Salehi said.
After implementation of JCPOA, grounds for expansion of economic and commercial cooperation as well as international interaction in scientific, technical and industrial fields with the world will be prepared, he said.
Some parts of Iran's commitments are related to Natanz site where the number of centrifuges should be fixed as declared in JCPOA, Salehi said adding that other similar measures should be taken in Fordo and Arak heavy water reactor.
After Iran's measures, the IAEA inspectors will visit the new changes and report it accordingly, he said.
