Rouhani: Except usurper world happy with JCPOA

Tehran, Oct 10, IRNA President Hassan Rouhani said that with the exception of one usurper, the rest of the world is happy with Iran's nuclear deal which culminated into the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Making the remark in a gathering on industry and trade policy here on Saturday, he said apart from a usurper regime, there is no other country to disapprove of the nuclear deal signed by Iran and the P5+1 and congratulated Tehran on the achievement.

This small group, which is scattered here and there is unhappy with this interaction, moderation and peace. In fact they are engaged in rivalry amongst themselves, the President said.

He said this can be tolerated given the harsh conditions these usurpers are suffering from seeing Iran developing respectful relations with the world.

He said Iran wanted the agreement to create a new atmosphere of peace both in region and the world, and added that Iran has always insisted upon the peaceful nature of its nuclear program.

Pointing the delayed implementation of the JCOA, he said the extremists in the US introduced a number of impediments on implementation of the document by turning it into a matter of partisan rivalry instead of treating it as an international topic.

However, he added, the time of Iranophobia is long over and this is the time now when Iran is greatly welcomed in the whole world.

As for the American companies investing in Iran, President Rouhani said the US firms have never been facing any restrictions in making their presence in Iran.

If there is a problem, he stressed, it comes from their won side because doors of Iran is open to all efficient foreign entrepreneurs.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he said that his government is targeting a one-digit inflation rate.

President Rouhani attended the opening ceremony of the two-day High-level Symposium on Industrial and Trade Policies: Promoting Exports and Developing Employment on Saturday morning.
