Iran, Russia and Iraq are Syrian friends and allies, he said, adding the West, especially the US, Zionists and reactionary governments of the region wanted to break the anti-Zionist circle. Syrian government was the key part of the resistance and in case Syrian government had collapsed, the circle of resistance would have been cut into pieces."

He added that Iran had openly announced that it has been supporting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, and Russian government is after the same goal and naturally it consults with Iran.

We do not hide that issue that we consult with Russia, Syria and Iraq to prevent materialization of illegitimate demand of foreigners who are after collapsing Syrian legal government.

He further added that Iran does not agree with any plan which is against demand of Syrian nation and president.
