In an interview with Australias ABC News, the head of the Indonesian National Counter-terrorism Agency said that ISIS smuggles terrorists into Indonesia in cooperation with human trafficking cells.
He added that based on the intelligence available, the terrorist grouping plans to transfer a number of its operatives into Indonesia through Malaysia with the help of human traffickers.Fifty-two Indonesian nationals who had joined the ranks of ISIS have been killed so far, he said, adding his men keep an eye on Indonesians who have recently returned home from Iraq and Syria.
