Tehran, Sept 24, IRNA � President Hassan Rouhani said on Thursday that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) marks a great success for Iranian nation as well as for peace.

'In other occasions I will explain to Iranian nation that what the nation did in connection with the JCPOA under wise guidelines of the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolutions marks a great success not only for Iranian nation but for peace,' said President Rouhani in an interview with reporters before leaving for New York to attend and address the 70th UN General Assembly.

President Rouhani said his presence in the UN General Assembly this year differs with that in the preceding year due to the JCPOA and preparations to implement the Accord.

He said, 'All should try to ensure the tree of the JCPOA grows well because its fruits are a blessing for the world and regional nations, while being capable of leaving very brilliant effects because a very big and immense job has been done.'
