Tehran, Sept 23, IRNA � President Hassan Rouhani here on Wednesday officially started the new school year in the country by ringing the bell in a high school in southeast of Tehran.

Today, September 23, the first day of autumn in Iran, is the beginning of the Iranian new school year.

President rang the bell in Baqerololum(AS) school to symbolically start the new school year.

According to statistics, over 13 million students are studying at 100,000 schools across the country this year.
