Tehran mayor arrives in Hungary

Budapest, Sept 16, IRNA – Tehran mayor Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf arrived in Hungary on Wednesday to inaugurate Tehran-Budapest Sisterhood Committee.
Upon his arrival in the Hungarian capital, Qalibaf was accorded warm welcome by Budapest mayor István Tarlós and Iranian ambassador to Hungary.

During his three-day stay in Budapest, Qalibaf is scheduled to visit the city’s sewage company and sewage treatment center.

Meeting with Hungarian ministers of commerce and foreign affairs and the country’s parliament speaker is also on the agenda of Tehran mayor’s visit to Budapest.

Budapest mayor István Tarlós visited Tehran in early May during which Tehran and Budapest were declared sister cities.
