Tehran, Sept 16, IRNA Irans Ambassador and Permanent Envoy to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Reza Najafi, said on Wednesday that the Iran-IAEA expert meeting ended on Wednesday after two-day intensive talks within framework of road map.
Talking to reporters, Najafi said the experts of Iran and the IAEA had started debate since Tuesday morning after Iran extended the IAEA on August 15 its written explanations and the IAEA questions on September 8 regarding certain ambiguities in Iran explanations.
Vario Ranta, the IAEA Director Generals Deputy for Safeguards, who head the IAEA expert team, said the expert meeting will continue late September.
The Iran permanent envoy said that based on the roadmap, all the agreed upon activities, including expert sessions and discussions, will come to a close by October 15.
