Tehran, September 15, The Iran Project – The city of Damghan will host the second National Festival of Iranian pistachios soon, said the head of Damghan’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization.
The head of Damghan’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization, Masumeh Davoudian, announced on Tuesday that the 2nd National Festival of Iranian pistachios will be held in Damghan from Sep. 16 to 18.
Davoudian said India, Pakistan, Yemen and Sweden ambassadors will attend the festival, stressing that the festival is a good opportunity to introduce Damghan’s tourism and historical sites, and its agricultural products, especially pistachio.
On the sidelines of the festival, more than 50 stands will offer products and handicrafts of the city of Damghan, she stated.
An exhibition of agricultural machinery and food industry that are related to Damghan’s main product – pistachio – will also be held in which 22 domestic and foreign companies will present all kinds of Damghan’s pistachio and gardening equipment, she added.
